Saqubit-100 is a combination of two medicine, Sacubitril 49 mg + Valsartan 51 mg, that is used to treat chronic heart failure. It belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitors (ARNIs). It works by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. It also helps the body retain less water and reduces the risk of hospitalization and death due to heart failure.
You can take Saqubit-100 with or without food. Shake the bottle well before giving it to children who cannot swallow tablets. If you are taking an ACE inhibitor or another ARB, you should stop taking it at least 36 hours before or after you take Saqubit-100. Tell your doctor if you have any allergies, liver or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Some common side effects of Saqubit-100 are cough, dizziness, low blood pressure, high potassium levels, acute renal failure, and decreased hematocrit levels. If you experience any of these or other serious side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
Saqubit-50 is also available.
